KUCCPS Portal Open for 2019/2020 First Revision of Courses

On Monday the 17th of February, the KUCCPS Portal was opened after a press statement by the CEO of KUCCPS, Dr. John Muraguri. According to the press statement a total of 688,928 students were placed in tertiary institutions. 

This is 10817 studentsless than the number of students who sat for KCSE 2019 representing a 98.45%placement.

125,449 who managed toscore C+ and above were placed in universities while 563,479 who scored C, D,or E, were placed in Technical and Vocational Education Training institutions.

Meanwhile, alluniversities declared a total capacity of 193,878 which absorbed 100% ofall qualified students. TVET institutions had a total capacity of 350,000 whichcould only absorb 62% of the students who scored between C and E.

However, the board notedthat other TVET institutions were offering additional training opportunitieswhich will absorb the remaining 38%. 

The board indicated thatthe portal will be open until 9th March 2020 allowing the students to revisetheir placements and after which the portal will be closed. 

All KCSE candidates ofthe Year 2019 are therefore requested to log into they are KUCCPS accounts tocheck and revise their placement. In case of any issues students are advised tovisit offices set up in the following institutions around the country:

  7. Kenya Water Institute: Kitui County
  8. Kibabii University: Bungoma County
  9. Kisii National Polytechnic: Kisii County
  10. Kisumu National Polytechnic: Kisumu County
  11. Kitale National Polytechnic: Trans Nzoia County
  12. Laikipia North Technical and Vocational College: Laikipia County
  13. Laikipia University, Maralal Campus: Samburu County
  14. Laisamis Technical and Vocational College: Marsabit County
  15. Maasai Mara University: Narok County
  16. Machakos University of Technology: Machakos County
  17. Meru National Polytechnic: Meru County
  18. Nyandarua Institute of Technology: Nyandarua County
  19. Nyeri National Polytechnic: Nyeri County
  20. Ol’lessos Technical Training Institute: Nandi County
  21. Pwani University: Kilifi County
  22. Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology: Nakuru County
  23. Siala Technical Training Institute: Migori County
  24. Siaya Institute of Technology: Siaya County
  25. Sigalagala National Polytechnic: Kakamega County
  26. Taita Taveta University: Taita Taveta County
  27. Tom Mboya University College: Homa Bay County
  28. Turkana University College: Turkana County
  29. Uhuru Vocational Training College: Isiolo County
  30. Umma University: Kajiado County
  31. University of Embu: Embu County
  32. Wote Technical Training Institute: MakueniCounty

Meanwhile, placement offices and Huduma centers in thefollowing counties will continue offering placement services;

Mombasa, Nyeri, Eldoret, Nakuru, Garissa, Kakamega, Kisumu, Meru, Kitui, and Nairobi
